It’s a problem that has tormented successful businessmen, global superstars and victorious sportspeople for decades…the single defining moment. No matter how many wonderful achievements you’ve accomplished, it’s all forgotten and just that one thing remains.

It’s a problem that has tormented successful businessmen, global superstars and victorious sportspeople for decades…the single defining moment. No matter how many wonderful achievements you’ve accomplished, it’s all forgotten and just that one thing remains.

Long after the adverts have vanished, his title-winning contributions to Real Madrid and Manchester United have been forgotten and even his dress-sense has disappeared off-radar, poor David Beckham will be remembered by the children of tomorrow solely for scoring THAT free-kick against Greece in the European qualifiers. Britney Spears could go on to be more successful than Madonna but that and her early career as a virgin pop princess will be purely asides; she’ll always be remembered as the girl that got drunk, flashed her lady parts, shaved her head and went slap-ass crazy back in 2007.

And, talking of virgins, little beardy Richard Branson will suffer the same fate. Never mind his multi-billion pound brand which encompasses everything from music and mobile phones to planes and trains; forget about the ballooning exploits too…history will remember him as the man lucky enough to appear with Pammy on an episode of Baywatch.

Unfortunately, overachieving has also been a bit of a problem for tourism in Egypt. It doesn’t matter how many wonderful hotels, glorious attractions or breathtaking sites there are, when you have the pyramids, everything else just tends to get overlooked. However, recently, things have started to change.
